Image 2000 & Corine Land Cover 2000 Project
Welcome to the Image2000 home page. Image2000 is part of the I&CLC2000 Project (Image 2000 and CORINE Land Cover 2000). This site is hosted by the Spatial Data Infrastructures Unit of the Joint Research Centre (JRC), who are responsible for Image2000.
I&CLC2000 consists of two inter-connected components :
- Image2000 - covering all activities related to satellite image acquisition, ortho-rectification and production of the European and National Mosaics
- CLC2000 - covering all activities related to the update of the CORINE Land Cover Database, based on Image2000 data, and the detection of land cover changes

this site you can get information on both project components (collectively referred
to as "I&CLC2000"). You can obtain details of the Image2000 project organisation
and results, and browse the archive of georeferenced imagery including the possibility
